There are two ways to access an Ultrasound Scan:
- Referral from your doctor or health professional
- Self-referral

Has your physiotherapist/osteopath/podiatrist/ health professional or GP recommended you have an ultrasound scan?
You can access a scan at a reduced rate if you or your clinician can provide us with a completed referral form, referral letter, or email (click here to email referral) prior to the scan.
We will provide both you and your referring clinician with a detailed scan with an extensive bespoke report for you within 48 hrs.
Please note, once your scan is booked, you must complete the Pre-Scan Questionnaire and Consent Form attached to your confirmation email prior to attending your scan.

SELF REFERRAL

You don't need a referral for a scan! However, we provide diagnostics ONLY and cannot direct you on treatments or a prognosis.
IMPORTANT TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Completion of a pre-scan questionnaire and consent form (emailed to you at the time of booking) will be required to secure a self referral booking.
These must please both be completed at least 24 hrs prior to the scan.
To be able to accept self-referrals, we do all we can to ensure that an ultrasound scan is appropriate imaging for you.
Without a clinical assessment by your doctor or appropriate health professional, we have to safeguard you as best we can from signs or symptoms that would warrant alternative investigations or reviews.
Medical assessment/treatment is outside the scope of our practice, and you are strongly advised to discuss your symptoms with your GP or appropriate clinician, who can then refer. This will help us establish the appropriateness of ultrasound for your presenting complaint.
